Born in Coimbra and having lived in Oporto, Portugal, art has always been an integral part of her life.
She studied at Soares dos Reis, an Art School in Oporto, and was inspired by her father to be meticulously detailed and organized. She observed and learned from him at his office, where he spent a lot of time working and sharing his thoughts about his work with her.
Graduating in Landscape Architecture in 2006 from the University of Évora, she worked as a freelancer for some years.
In 2011, her passion for flowers and entrepreneurial desire led her to open a florist shop. Two years later, she began selling her first greeting cards online as a hobby.
In 2014, she crafted her own wedding invitations and fell in love with the creation process and its complexity, and a new passion was born.
Two years later, she donated all her goodies from her florist shop to dedicate 100% to Rustic Chic.
Cristina created her own style of wedding invitations and has her own studio in Penafiel, where she produces all her wedding stationery and has helped more than 5.5k couples worldwide.
She is a wife and mother of twin boys.
In her free time, you can find her taking care of her plants, reading books, traveling, at the gym, or meeting with friends.

Creating is part of my life and it’s in my roots. As a child, I loved to create thoughtfully detailed greeting cards for my parents, and still love doing it. I can’t imagine my life without art and the creation of stationery.

ENTREPRENEUR
Being an entrepreneur allows me to have the freedom I desire for my business and family. It’s much like a roller coaster, with its ups and downs. However, it’s through these challenges that we learn and grow, becoming stronger and more empowered. We learn to never give up.
